The Fire of 2n06 (part 2)

*continues*

The start of the year was certainly a good one. Very fun, full of high hopes for the rest of the year. Class outings were great memories, turning into deadly enemies and shooting each other, then becoming friends and laughing about your own deaths afterwards. The jealous faces of those few who didn't go, and didn't have the courage to go...well, just go next time. Shit, there's probably no next time. Nu, there will be. I'm sure.

The year started out fine. But as we progressed towards the end of the year, one could say we had a quite a steep downward slope in work attitude. We got Ms Gwee angry, etc, and we just kept copying from each other. Then we came under attack of a cyber bully, which we overcame together. I must say though, our relationships with the teachers decreased drastically after that incident.

However, we were very much bonded together through this whole 2 years. We learnt about each other. We cared for each other. We reached this far together. If only we could go on as a class together...

I will never forget you guyz. You people are one of the best friends I ever met. Should we get separated, the forum remains as a platform, for all of us to get together again. Lets plan another outing!

Whatever we do, let the fire of 2n06 burn on.

The Fire of 2n06 (part 1)

The reign of the windowless classroom, and its mightly 2n06 has finally ended, with the year. Most of us are going to be splited up next year, and then blended together with favourable classmates, or with concrete blocks so cold after 2 years of winter. However, whichever way we choose for the rest of our term in HCI, we all would never forget the period we had when were still fresh in the school, desperately clawing onto any footholds of a new, challenging, steep mountain. We have made it thus far, together. Abit about my thoughts in the past 2 years. Very valuable. Auction anyone?

I started off sec 1 as an over enthusiastic friend maker. First friend in 2N was...guess who? Yes, the tummy wummy Wu Zhao Xing. In fact, the over enthusiasm probably backfired. I ended up talking so much with WZX that both of us gave an impression of us to the teachers that you would never want to give anyone in your whole life. That you were a bratty, talkative, immature kid. Yeah, shit. But soon, I out of talking to wzx so much during classes. Nicholas, I still haven't forgotten you for your website...

Classes were not very good for myself either. Many of us were new to the whole GEP system. No idea how in the bloody world do we do a history test that didn't have dates and MCQ. Our first history test. 14 outta 26 people received single digit marks. Including me ><. At least I can say i did average, 9 marks, the highest one can get for a single-digit-mark-er, therefore putting me into 13th place or so. And yeah, the starting of a long chain of high marks, Ben Ng achieved 23/25 marks. Pro guy. Always confused him as Daniel in the first 2 weeks of Sec 1. I remember clearly, on the first day, I tried to call Daniel to hand up my dunno what profile worksheet, and i just keep going "Oi, Benjamin! Benjamin Ng! OOOoi!" And zx would drawl, no, thats Daniel. Obviously, I disagreed with him. Oops.

Then came the Warren Mark Liew. Liked him on the first sight/hearing, knew he was going to be a nice teacher. Started off by making fun of our names. Very nice. Very kind. But all of us took it as a joke anyway. But sadly, he left soon after. Nuu, a very evil act indeed.
Ah, I can go on alot more about this, but basically I can just summarise my first year as spending time with Zhao Xing, Ryan, Hubert, and Edmund Teo, trying to become a CiT with Nicholas but failed terribly at the first step (collecting the CiT form from Tan Chee Wee), failed attempts at giving people birthday presents, and wasting my time on the crowded Aquila. Oh, and I received and lost my first ever handphone in sec 1 too.

Then here comes sec 2. This is the year where I started to have more feelings towards my class. I was more dedicated to helping the class out. After being with them for one year, seeing my classmates after the 2005 Dec holidays was kinda nice. Its as though you see them in a whole new light. Many have gotten more mature, in some ways only, while some have tried to mature in certain areas, but phailed.

We started off by introducing ourselves to Ms Gwee again. Second time, since we did so 1 year ago as well. Leefy didn't want us to waste time introducing ourselves again. Lol. So he could spend more time thinking of ways to catch Yu Xuan without his Bio notebook. Yu Xuan probably just never learned, but he did get over with it. From the front of the exercise book, "Literature Journal". From the back, "Science Notebook". Good paper saving technique. Then Limne terrorised us with files as thick as the length from my back bone to my belly button, but only checked 5 of us. Then they were given free residence in the side cabinets for 6 months or so, before we finally evacuated them during a "Use your heads". I means hands. But in many other aspects, I can still say Limne is quite a good teacher. Pretty likeable, but not in the sense of the Compos and Compres and Small Tests.

But there's something none of us would ever forget. I mean, someone none of us would ever forget. Our incredible FT, KC. Most memorably, whenever he goes out of the classroom to talk on his handphone, we would all swap squirters with his squirter. Lol. Then there was also the godfather crazy stuff. And his special chair, the teachers table. Not to mention, LOTF movie. ("Ralph:So, what do you say? Jack: I say fvck you!") and on and on and on. Oh, and the kinkyness of all of it. 2nners, NEVER 4get this guy.
